I've been reading about exhaust setups and im looking for a cheap (temporary) way to stop boost creep with a 3" full exhaust. I know about porting the turbine housing and the 02 housing... and of course the ultimate solution ... External WG. But one of the things I've read is replacing the O2 housing with a ported 2g 02 housing does the job better than just a ported 1g. So my question is...

Does a ported 2g 02 housing actually flow that much more than a ported 1g housing?

It will probably cost more (in time or money) to port my 1g housing than it would just to buy a ported 2g. On a side note... when a 02 housing is ported... is it OK to remove the divider of the holes completely? Any negative side effects?

Thanks for any experience you can share!
