1g OEM intercooler differences?

My 1g NON turbo FWD died, so I plan on doing a turbo engine swap. I want to use a stock intercooler and stock pipes to save on initial cost. Is there a difference fwd and awd intercoolers in 1gs? Thanks

no, all 1G intercoolers are the same.

The core/tanks are the same, but there are differences in the brackets. If you have a 90-91, get an IC from a 90-91.

I've never heard this. I have a 92 and the intercooler on it looks identical to the extra I have off of a 1ga.

I've seen two of em back to back, i'll take a look and see if I still have them laying around.
