FWD guys,
What brand/size/thickness Intercooler have you found fits the best behind the shorter FWD bumper cover? I will be cutting the back side of the bumper support to help get the I/C up high enough, would like to have the piping ran thru the holes where the A/C lines go thru instead of around the radiator support. Almost seems the Buschur street I/C size is the only option, as I have a few different cores I've tried and they are just either a bit too long (hang out the bottom) or I would have to cut off the 2 bolts on the bottom of the bumper bracket to clear the end tanks.

Not true. 90 model fwd turbo did not get the nicer awd bumper in the eclipse. 90 91 talon got the same bumper on awd and fwd
I’ve never seen a “nicer” bumper on the Eclipse. The Laser looked the best best IMO, followed by the Talon. 😂 But there may have been different versions on them that I’ve never seen in 20 years around these things.

Well...I thought it looked better. Gsx and talon were the same in 90 91. Fwd were not. 92 up didn't seem to matter. Non turbo and turbo all got the same.

Wanna see weird and look around and you can find a 90 hood with no power bulge. It's if no use to most of us. It looks out of place

The lower models had the black molding that went around the whole car, including on the bumper. I guess they changed that in 91 because my GST has what I thought was the better looking version too.

To me the power bulge in the hood is like the main focal point of the car. Can’t have one without that!

Only on 90 1.8.
It does look weird.
