1g Megan exhaust Vid and pics installed

well I know people are always asking if these exhausts are any good or not. Well they are when they get them right. Heres a bunch of pics of the Megan exhaust installed. Note ive installed three myself so far and everything fits awesome. The only thing I have complaints on is the far rear hangar on the muffler. It needs to be bent up a little to give the muffler more clearance off the rear bumper. To bend it you need to heat it up with a torch. Any of the ones we sell will be fixed to fit as shown. Other than that I think its one hell of a deal. Heres some pics of my last install. Plus a video clip (MOV file) which i cant seem to get to host on my site right now

I just bought the Stainless 3" downpipe so this is good news to hear. Thanks for the fitment info. Hows she sound? throaty import muscle?

Probably sounds like any other N1 style exhaust system. I wish i'd have known about this before i got my Dejon (which is still awesome), the only reason i didn't get it is because at the time, all the Megan stuff necked down at the dp to catback.

I'd like to hear it, and see the flange at the dp-catback.

HAHA, i didn't even notice the "lift". Thats not a bad idea though, too bad my driveway is sloped as it is.

The downpipe is necked for the 02 housing. it is a very smooth transition very close to the flange.

Thats cool, I'm glad to hear thats the only neck. The only real issue i have with it though is the angle of the muffler out the back of the car, but i do like how close it sits up under the car.

Wow that slant is obnoxious. Reminds me of a truck exhaust that doesn't quite face backwards nor does it have a side exit but choses both.

this is a true 3in exhaust no necks for bolting the catback to the stock cat. the only neck is right at the top of the downpipe to bolt to the 1g and 2g housings.

Just installed the downpipe and ran it open DP for a while. Sounds really mean at wot. The craftsmanship is nice and it fit with little to know no problems. Money well spent in my opinion

i whole-heartedly agree. If you dont like the catback design, the downpipe is a must have at 150$. If u can stand the apexi n1 look alike catback, you have the perfect exhaust at the best possible price.

The slanted fit, it seem that people either hate them or love them. I kinda like them to tell you the truth, I think they look really mean on STi's and Supra's. Not a bad looking system at all from what I could tell.

There's the "slant" and then there is "almost side exit" and I believe this one falls into the "almost side exit" category. Apexi N1 is a slant. This is just exagerated.
