I have two questions.
My first is will a 1g magnus intake manifold fit on a 2g head... I know the ports will slightly be off but how much and will it be fine? I have a 2g head for now and planning on upgrading to a 1g head very soon, but i want to order an intake now and use it, will this work?

It will bolt up, yes. But the air is going to hit a wall when it hits those small ports on the 2G head. You could port the 2G head to match a 1G gasket and just sort of smooth the transition in port size... It will work, but may not be the best solution.

Totally worthless... Just wait till you have the right stuff, it will be much more rewarding in the end and a lot less pain

First of all, it will NOT work. yes, it will bolt on but you will have a HUGE boost leak due to the different size ports. Wait until you get the 1g head and then install the manifold. There is no point in doing it now and you will only hurt your performance.

There would be zero boost leaks... think about it. If you port matched the 2G head to the size of the 1G runners it will be fine. I am not talking about porting the 2G head all the way in, just so that the air dosent hit a wall when it gets to the head. There would be no more boost leaks then any other manifold bolted to a head with a gasket in between. The whole boost leak thing dosent even make sence.

I have a good friend that is running the new AMS VSR manifold, at first they only had it for 1G heads and he had a built 2G head (he got it before anyone even knew about the new manifold). So he just ported his head to smoothly transition from the 1G post size to the 2G port size so the air dosent hit a wall when it get to the head. It is a 9sec. car. It works great!
