im looking to spice up the interior on my 1g. there seems to be very few items on the market for 1g's to do so. id like to see some pics and ideas on how i can do this. ive already got racing seats and sparco harnesses but they look very out of place with the boring regular interior.

How about a shift knob? Or pedals? Or a steering wheel? I don't think it would be too ricey if you got what most would consider "tasteful" dress up items (to each his/her own though).

If you're talking about anything else other than those "basic" dress up items, you can paint your interior all black, or redo the headliner in black if you like. I painted my interior, using vinyl paint for some parts and plastic paint for the others. It's pretty durable, but it will fade in areas that you often rub against. My armrest was painted but eventually rubbed off since I usually rest my elbow against it when I get in/out of the car. I redid my headliner and door inserts in black vinyl, but have yet to redo the sun visors. Black carpet maybe? I'm not too sure if anybody makes them though.

Of course, this is just my opinion of what I think isn't "ricey," so these are just suggestions.

I would just take in to an upholstery and fix it all up. I do upholstery around in tacoma washington and people I have fix up love it after it is all down
