1G FMIC - Best one? Are any easy to install?

Heres the SBR fmic. As you can see it has flanges welded to it already so you don't have to guess where to put it. I had to cut the bumper support some, but that only took about 1.5 hours. The bumper cover doesn't have to be cut, but I chose to cut mine so it could breath better. The quality is outstanding and the piping worked out perfect. I would recommend the SBR street core if you don't have a problem cutting your bumper support, that was the hardest part of the installation.

From what i've been seeing lately, nobody cares whats good, better, best or even worst, all the care about is the price.

I would NOT recomend running a ADFX fmic. I bought one cheap and since then i have had to get EVERY weld re-welded because they blew out. Thats on a big16g, everyone that i have talked to or seen everyone blows the welds off the ADFX. Im gonna be buying a SBR race or a Spearco 2-216 core soon if it blows out one more time.

Well I ended up with a Spearco 2-221. It's a bottom to top flowing small FMIC. 18.5"x6"x3". Spearco claims 1080 CFM flow at 1.5psi drop and that it will support 760 HP.
I called them questioning the claims and got chewed out! I was asked if I was making more than 760HP(not yet!) and that the DSM guys seem to like the 216 because it fills the opening and then some rendering a good part of the IC useless. I run a Holset HX-35/40 which is 70lbs/min. capable(1000 CFM) and I installed a sending unit in my elbow and check my intake temps and am isially below 100*. If I went to upgrade it would be with the bullseyepower 1G FMIC. Mark

i bought the fmic i got because it was cheap, but thats also because i just wanted an fmic so that once i found the "perfect fmic" the install would be easier. also this thing would hold me over until then and is supposed to be really good
