Thanks RnR, I know. But! I just bought no-name 3" turbo back w/ a dynomax muffler and 4.5" tip for $400 shipped! Yay!

Hey Candela chill out a second. No one in SoCal Dsm supports Manny, if anything half the guys here wouldnt spit on him if he were on fire. Don't bunch a group of good people with this lowlife just because he posts on the SoCal DSM list.

Doesn't matter, Shep runs on C16, you can get away with less intercooler.

You cannot have too much intercooling, go big if you can afford it.

I unfortuneatley have a ####y street core. LOL.

Couldn't agree. So-cal is virtually unmoderrated and Manny was the first Ban in like a year, hes back on now but we all ####ing hate him.

true that, down with Manny! Hey RnR, its Dave. Just curious if you guyys have any kind f intercooler kit for mirage's yet? I think the shoe wants a spearco ;-)

It isn't the C16 as much as it is the nitrous. Someone did the math a while ago, and came up with the fact that Extreme's 8 second car did not even need an intercooler with the amount of nitrous they were using. Pretty crazy. The intercooler was there to "hold the front bumper up".

Read my post oh fair So cal'ers....

It simply states " theres a reason why so many, INCLUDING THE SO CAL DSM GUYS, think you are a spoiled peice of sh!t"...

Which means that I know you guys think he is a pile of feces just like me. I spoke with several fellas after Manny ripped me off to get the word on him. :thumb:

Uhhh.. John Sheperd does run a 2-216 Buschur Race Core FYI. He used to run a 22 x 14 x 3.5 (I think that's the correct dimension... from memory).. that flowed better. But he replaced it w/ the BR FMIC race core last spring.
Our race core has also ran 9's on Curt Browns car last year. Should see more this year. And for the guys where the race core is just too small.. we now offer our "track core". You should see these on several of the very fast cars this season.
The Nitrous does make up for alot of the FMIC. The reason that Extreme was blocking off the FMIC a few years ago was due to the use of methanol & nitrous.

Id recommend checking out RNR and their FMIC kits, I just got my RNR Race FMIC and the piping and core look beautiful, Ryan was wonderful to work with and had no problem putting whatever flange I wanted on it (TiAL in my case). Also the price cant be beat.

Dont believe what people have been saying in this thread about bad quality from RNR or Manny being related to RNR the quality of the work is top notch (also got a 3" turbo back from them which is also amazing work) and their customer service is great!

Odd that your first and only post is defending and overly-promoting a company that was criticized in this thread.

Ive had my DSM for about a month, and I post on sddsm.org and on the socal_dsm yahoo groups list, this thread was mentioned on socal_dsm and thought I should respond. This is my second time to the site the first was to view the 1/4mi time list (when i registered)

Sorry im not a post whore.

I have delt with Kenny at Irc, personally, for quite a while and i run most of the parts that they sell and run themselves. i have personally been to their shop and seen the intercoolers and the talent that was used in the designing of thier newer cores and piping. If you are looking for the right intercooler or other performance parts for your dsm, Irc will work with you to figure out what you need for your particular car.

I would talk about other things that he also has for 1g and 2g dsms but this is about fmic's so if you want more go to the IRC website.

Very happy customer with IRC,

Brian :D :thumb:

let me also comment about Manny... He ####ed our company name up also by selling parts on the Trader and saying that they were going to be drop shipped from his distributor which he was telling people was us. We were not his distributor at all. He called me and asked me if I could give him and San Diego club DSM some deals on parts. I said sure not knowing who he was... I gave him prices and a few weeks later I start getting calls from customers asking where there stuff is and saying that they have been waiting weeks for their stuff. I didnt know what the hell they were talking about so I try and call this dude and e-mail him and he never replies. Turns out he sold like $3500 in parts under our company name which screwed us pretty bad. I just finished paying people off because I was trying to safe face.... Lucky he is on the west coast or I might have driven to his house and did something I would regret. This DSM community is like a family to most people and then you get this dude to come in and screw it up for everyone... Let me tell you he has no account with Spearco and Burns stainless will not give you a killer deal unless you purchase in quantity. He also ripped off another two other people I know of who just happened to bring it up on the phone with me... He ripped off a dude in Connecticut for a Greddy Profec B and another dude from Boston with an intercooler. Was supposed to send him an Indy Race core kit and in return sent him a core with 4 mandrel bent pipes, some cheap shitty hoses and clamps and no throttle body elbow, j-pipe, or 2.5"-2" reducer.... Hes a scum in my book and better not show his face at any DSM Shootout because it might really turn into a shootout, LOL had to say it!

Indy and RnR you guys both make a killer setup! keep up the good work...

check out ams brand new 1g fmic. the end tanks are rounded for better flow into the pipes. i wish they made it for a 2g like that but o well.

i realy liked the design of this fmic for some reason it just seems like it flows alsome.

irc no longer makes fmics but agp does, but im not sure if they make them for a 1g yet. just give kevin a call at agp.

and give eric a call at ams to see what he could do for you.
