i can't figure out their site at all. the links on the left won't bring up anything for exhaust. and they've got next to nothing for 1gdsm's.

Sorry, I know they're trying to work out some kinks with the shopping cart. Best bet is to look at the fabrication pages, for more information, and to give them a call. All of the guys there are quite knowledgeable.

dejonpowerhouse dp and catback. aluminized, 3", all gaskets, all hangers, and clamps. with 2nd bullet muffler option.

shipped to my door was less than 500 bucks. and my mechanic put it up for me for less than 100. good luck finding even JUST a catback for less than 500 let alone the whole system. i know for a fact that the apexi n1 goes for no less than 525-550.

just do the dejon exhaust, it sounds awesome. and it will look good with a dual tip. espically since it's not a super blingy SS 3" pipe.
that sounds like a good idea for less than 500 I can have a tbe. Although my only concern is new england will eat away that aluminum

im in michigan dude, land of the salted roads. mine is holding up great.

i even asked dejon about salt on their pipes and they said they'd last a long time even with salt. so im sure youll be fine man.

im gonna do the same as you though, hack the muffler and hang a nice oval magnaflow.

i asked that for a long time, i never got an answer on it. it seems like a good deal, but i found the dejon and just jumped on it. that and i definately didn't have 700ish bucks to spend on an exhaust.

Im gonna agree with slugs. Call PINA and ask for andre, hell help you out. But I also run the APEX'i N1, and love the tone at cruise, idle, and WOT. I think it sound wonderful, but clearly aftermarket. It is also a very far cry from a honduh fart can too. Andre, or anyone at PINA will definately steer you in the right direction, even if you arent buying from them.

True Story.

Heres the setup i plan on doing on my 2g when i get it. im gonna run a 3 inch downpipe into one of the skinny magnaflow mufflers. and weld a 90* bend to the end of the muffler towards the ground, and keep the stock muffler on the back of the car. It cant get any stealthier than the stock muffler:thumb:

i'd just check the magnaflow site for tips. but if you price it out getting the kteller is almost cheaper than getting nice tips from magnaflow or something.

but yeah, i assume those are just magnaflow tips they welded on there.

I checked there site they had something similiar to those tips but the i.d is 2.25" I would need 2.5" since the outlet on the 14221 muffler is 2.5". Without tips I can get the 14221 from ebay in ss for 101.00 shipped or 89 shipped if I don't go with the SS. Not sure if I justify spending another 70-90 on tips.

Well I just ordered the magnaflow 14221 its the ss 3"inlet with dual 2.5 outlets. I'll get tips later but thanks for that website they have some nice looking ones.

I know I'm a little late to this, but I've seen black mufflers. They're coated or something instead of being painted, that would def give you the stealth look.

stealth yes, but definately not stock looking.
if I'm going to do black I'll do the natural carbon build up on my exhaust tips look;)

I would go with this one.http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=465 or the flowmaster 50 series that is similar, but the magnaflow with some stock tips will go undetected to the untrained eyes an ears in regular driving no problem.I'm getting that one for my gvr4 pronto.Sure it's baffled and may cost you 1 or 2hp  ,but thats about as stealthy as you can get.For a cheap but good DP i would go with a megan or a bushur pressbent.my .02

Well the muffler I'm talking about was a dual tip about the same size as stock, and with the black it was hard to see from anywhere but up close.

if im going for a "stock look" from a muffler. something black isn't stock looking.

a nice dual tip muffler maybe with a aluminized body and SS tips. if anything it would just look new. . .

. . . until you started it up and that dual tip straight thru muffler starts screaming.

heehee, i love turbo exhaust.
