2G 1G EPROM ECU work in 2G?

i was just wondering, will a 1g ecu work with my 1999gst, or will i need a 95 ecu.

need a 95. the 1g are obd1, have a different cas and different type of knock sensor, etc.......quite a few differences. i'd just look for a 95 or higher (unless you want the 95 for eeprom)

When you get the 95 ecu, there are a few wires you are going to have to switch around. I would suggest looking it up, I think it is pretty simple.

Since you have a 2g eclipse you need a 1995 Eprom ecu. Not all 1995 ecu's are eprom so check before you buy.

Well Ive been looking for a 1995 EPROM for a while now, (I Just got outbid on Ebay for 1, Damm) You guys know where or who I can pick one up from?

Oh Yea, By The Way , I Wasnt Asking If Any 1g Ecu Would Work. Im Getting The Link, So I Was Wondering If A Older EPROM ( Before 95) Would Work. Thanks Again

Its the same deal. Different sensors. 1gs need the 1g Eprom and 95 need the 95 Eprom. Keep checkin ebay, I got mine for 180 shipped there. DSMtrader is a good source but only use a credit card or debit card where you can make sure you dont get screwed (PayPal)... the classifieds here on Tuners are good also.
