1G Eagle Talon TSI rev problems

When revving over 3000 RPMs in any gear car starts to cut out and boost does not initialize but once over 4000rpms boost kicks in. Any suggestions?

What has been done to the car ? Might want to start with sorting out and air leaks, here's how to make yourself a boost leak tester:

The car is stock. It seems to be missing an manifold stud also going to try and replace some seals. I will give that boost leak idea a try thank you!
