Take this as a chance to try some fiberlgassing and fiberglass a new center console that hold a SAFC, Logger, Radio, ETc. It could be a really unquie and fun project.

hmm someone told me they used a ricer phone holder from autozone to make a palm holder. a little modification and it worked. something to think about.

Ha, as ricey as that may look- it could work if the little plastic seat was wide enough- I may actually try that

Seems by far the best idea to me.

just bought a logger and id be interested in seein some more pics of peoples set ups too...

I'm interested in how you wired up the palm to the car.
The battery on mine doesn't last very long when its not being charged, but I can't charge and log at the same time.

Here is a pic of how I mounted mine with a window suction cup mount. I like it close to the gauge cluster so I can see everything without taking my eyes far off the road.

Take out he center of your steering wheel. Use that as a template and fiberglass a holder for your PDA in the steering wheel. If your good you could keep the horn. If you want something that really looks clean and proper a little holder isn't going to cut it. Maybe you could mount it on the visor somehow.

I like the apexi mount... since I am not using mine (My SAFC is in the center vent) I kind of like it being off to the side, buging the passenger but oh well.

How did you attach it? Pics of the back and stuff?

You can buy the apexi mounts almost anywhere that sells the afc and avcr and rsm. Its like $15. I used two layers of double sided tape for the stand to dash, and then used velcro between logger and stand. It works really well, just pull it off when i need it and then stick it back up. I have never had any problems with the velcro either, I was not sure how well it would hold, but its been there for a while now and holding strong.

Hey, Anyone know where I can download the software for a Palm, Linux or Windows to use with a custom made data logger cable? (1g DSM)

Thanks.

I still think this is a great idea, but if you're afraid of fiberglass, or trying to do stuff yourself (Walker you're a ####y :D and I'm going to link POS to this) then it probably isn't for you.
