1g cas on a 2g head help

i recently replaced the engine on my 96 talon awd with an engine from a 97 gst the cas on the 95-96 head is under the cam gears as on the 97-99 is on top of the head on the opposite side, my question is how can i get the cas to work or would the 1 g cas will work on the 2g head, or should i block the hole on the 97-99 head and use the 95-99 style cas but then the cam gear needs to be swapped am i right? can anyone tell me what the best method is?

either one will work. if you have your old parts just throw them on so you dont need to rewire anyhting.
