I have the first gen. It will keep that sick blow off valve hiss sound. You need to get the upper intercooler piping(UICP) i suggest one from Dave Brode or an adapter to fit on your stock piping. Go with the hard UICP not the adapter. (more airflow) Also getting a hard intake pipe and conic air filter (like K&N) will help increase the blow of sound as well as add some horsepower. The 1G will easily hold 12 psi. I think it holds 15 psi before leaking. If you crush the 1G it can hold well over 20 psi. But if your running the stock T-25 turbo, dont go past 15 psi. I'd run around 12 psi.

PS. DONT GET ONE FROM DEJON. Find one in the classified or on Ebay for cheaper. Id suggest getting a crushed one if you plan on runner higher boost in the near future.

Also the Dave Brode UICP will cost you about 75 dollars and the 1G BOV about 30-50 dollars.

Good Luck

y not go with the 1 from dejon, just because of price? i think for right now i would just get the adapter, becuase i want to wait and see if i get a bigger smic or get a fmic. also what does "crushed" acctually mean

Yes! Price is a rip off. And if you care about looks of the 1G BOV just polish it. Thats what i did. I spent 30 bucks on my 1G BOV and couldn't be happier. If your thinking about getting a bigger side mount of FMIC then wait and get the adapter. Very cheap on Ebay. Do a search on crushed. Youll find all the info you need. Its just a way to hold more psi.

Oh! Heres a 1G BOV in the classifieds for 40 bucks

I just installed the dejon tools UICP (L + S portions) with a 1g bov...i like it....just make sure you get the throttle body gasket if you change the "S" portion of the pipe...1G BOV sound more noticeable with hard piping...
