1G GS-T vs. 2G GS-T

I am going to have to say yes, only for the fact that even tho the 1g has a 14b its still not using it at its full potential, just the same as the 2g, at this point its kinda up to you what you would prefer, of course there is the 1g which has a least chance of "crankwalk" then the 2g.

Then again the 2g also has the option if its a 95 for the Eprom ecu. In the end its up to you.

The 2g GSTs were slightly faster. However, once the modifications start, its a different story as the 1gs came with a better flowing turbo...

Eprom ECU is needed to run a DSMlink, which is the system most people consider the best to tune the car.

the 2g has more power. but weighs more. the 1g has less power and weighs less. in my opinion one cn only have a faster driver.
both cars are equal as far as performance.

1gs will make the power easier. although the 2g has more things that are better, the ones on the 1g are more valuable to making more power.

1g has better

Head
turbo
bov
intake manifold
lighter

2g has better
Mas airflow meter
compression
TB elbow
exhaust manifold
o2 housing

see this is veary vague. the 1g head is not always better. stock some peaple say its better. but as soon as you decide to do any port work the 2g head is more desirable.
the stuf you listed above is going to make a diferance when adding mods into the equation. but stock wont change much

He didnt say anything about whats better after modding. Its just a known fact the 1g head is better. Im just stating whats better between the 2 cars.

t25 is the crippling factor on the 2g

I know this thread is going to get locked as well as his other thread...But I must go ahead and ask.. Why did mitsu decide to go with the Garrett t25 on the 2g? Why didn't they continue to improve and refine it and go with a 16g or ATLEAST a 14b?

They went with a smaller turbo because they upper the compression inhopes of a better low end and a more usable powerband.

is it really better, I say no.

1G all the way, each car has their advatages and their disadvatages, its really up to personal opinion, me, Ive always worked on 1G's never worked on 2G's, so naturally i love 1G's.
