1g bov on 2g homemade flange question

I have a 2g and just bought a 1g bov. I also have the 1g pipe that the bov is mounted to.
Is there any way to use the pipe?

Also if I cannot use the pipe can I cut the flange off and weld some tubing onto the bottom of the flange to make it work with my 2g?

just cut the flange off and weld it to a piece of tubing the right size, thats how mine is on, watch out when welding though cuz you can warp the flange. check if for leaks, i used a spray bottle and soapy water method.
