thats my insperation, no im going to compact it into aone article for a 1g not a 2 g

I admire your devotion to such a time consuming and tedious mod. It came out very nice.

I kind of did the same thing you could say. I just converted my gauge cluster bulbs to LEDs, and changed my HVAC bulbs to LEDs. I would like to know, in detail, of how to install LEDs into the stock switches. My main question would be how did you disassemble the switches and how did you get 5mm LEDs to fit. Also, what wires did you tap the LEDs into?

Im in the process of making a write-up on how to install LEDs in the stock gauge cluster, maybe we could collaborate and make one big write-up? Heres a couple pictures of my "custom" gauge cluster.

Edit: Added the HVAC picture. All I did was add in led's in place of the stock bulbs, turned out pretty good IMO.

Thanks, it turned out good IMO, but I did do one thing that bothered me. I accidently ordered 2 50pack LEDs off ebay, each from a different manufacturer and I got them mixed up in my parts bin. Hence, they arent the same "tint" of blue. You can BARELY notice it, but if you look very closely at the speedo, one side is one tint of blue and one side is another tint.

Im nearly finished with my write up, I just need to take some more pictures and I need some circuit layouts of the back of the gauge cluster.

does anyone know how many bulbs are behind the guage cluster and the sizes. i want to order blue replacements but i dont want to get too many
