Resolved 1G Bad ECU? Smells like fish

i pulled my ecu and it smelled like fish. ive tried finding out what a fishy smelling ecu ment but all i can find for an answer is that it is "bad" what causes it and any recommendations as to how to fix it or do i have to get a new one

Leaky capacitors. Mine did the same thing...... twice. I recommend finding a remanned one.

Bad caps for sure. get it to steve here on the forums if he still takes them. if not then ecm tuning ,both do great work.
