1G AWD swap

Hey guys, sorry if this is a reoccuring thread, but I couldnt find the info that I am looking for. Can anyone tag a thread or perhaps give me some info on what it will take to do an awd swap on my 94 eagle talon tsi fwd? Im looking for a parts list of everything that I should need. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Not to rain on your parade but it would be so much easier for you to just either buy a complete awd car or buy and awd shell and use your motor then just source a trans and transfer case if it doesn't come with one.

But hey different strokes for different folks if that's what you want to do have at it. You will have to atleast get the floor out of and awd because it has the tunnel for the driveshaft where your fwd does not.

Its been done a few times some say they woudlnt do it again, easier to find a awd unless you love the shell sooo much.

Plus you pretty much need an AWD shell to do the swap anyways...

just wondering, are you keeping what ever tranny is in there now (auto or manual) or are you gonna swap trannies and wiring harness/ecu etc?

Bought my 93 AWD Talon with 64k miles and a spun bearing for $700. Just saying...

I did the swap in my 90 laser it was easy I just did what everybody else said... sold it and bought an awd

sorry I had too.

I searched the same thing, bought my laser dude said it was awd (didn't speak english well) I bought it at night it was sitting in a weedy side yard and I couldn't see under it. Price was right and it was my first dsm. Looked under it the next day and said, "crap!" I replaced the mas and sold it for a profit.

and yes I now know that awd wasn't an option for the laser in 90
