1g awd fuel pump install help!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys. I have a 91 tsi awd talon. Have all stage 1 mods done except fuel pump due to rusty sending unit nuts. Ive tried every spray you can think of. Sprayed then down for a week straight and still broke a couple so i stopped. Ive read a couple ways to do it( self tapping screws , make a hold down bracket) Just wan t everyones thoughts on this problem. I have a wal 190 to install, I put it off each year because of this problem. As you know they dont make gastanks or sending units for this year. Thx in advance and hope i explained my problem well??

I usually take the hose loose on the other end and pull it out with the sending unit. You won't even have to remove the hose from the sending unit.

Hey thx for that link. Ive seen that before. The jb weld kinda scared me away . I have to get it done tho. Ive had the pump for approx 5 years. I aways say ill do it next year. Just dont want to tear it apart and not beable to drive the car due to rigging it up. Hope the pump will help out beacuae I have full stage 1(mach v) along with some stage 2 and my best time is 13.5. That was before I had my ecu done by dsmchips tho.

thx for the reply. Im talking about the nuts that hold down the sending unit. I have to install diff pump. Know what I mean? Thx
