1G automatic turbo???

Has anyone ever used a 1G automatic turbo (13g i believe) on a 1G 5spd? how does it compare to the 14b? unfortunatly this is what turbo i have on my 90 tsi awd and am curious what to expect when i finish working on my car.

The 13g exhaust manifold is smaller than the 14b manifold.

if you are putting the 13g turbo on a 5 speed engine, youll need the manifold too.

just spend 100$ for a used 14b off trader or someting.

youll need to swap the coolant lines to make the auto turbo work on a 5speed engine aswell.

smaller turbo, less power
at the bottom of the power pages staged upgrades on dsmtuners.com it says "if you have a automatic car, go jump over a cliff"

nah, it really says with the automatics, it takes a LOT MORE to achieve staged power levels.

it's already on my car ... we ported the auto manifold and slapped that puppy on. i am just looking for max HP and time slips ... i DO have a 14b that is almost new ... but it is on a friends car who tragically lost his big 16g ( sniff:: clogged oil line)
