1g and 2g TPS Same?

No, the 2g tps incorporates the idle switch that the 1g has on the rar side of the throttle body. Other than that I do believe that they are the same.

So to use a 1g TPS on a 2g, can I spice a wire and run it to the idle switch on the 1g TB?
