No , not really . Mabey it's not the Altezza , I just want a custom taillight set up . Sick of looking at the stock . I don't want the Euro or ### look . Just want a one piece tail-light .

you know it seems like everybody likes to bash everyones ideas but when i get my car completly finished this spring everyone is going to say it is too ricey but i dont care and if you really want those altezza tail lights i would look on ebay or andys autosport they have a lot of stuff on there

yeah no problem i like to help out not tell everyone to keep it stock looking just bc thats what i like.....its your car and if you want it then get it dont let other people tell you different just bc its not what they like

Ok , I have been looking everywhere for exterior parts for my 92 laser . I can't seem to find anything ANYWHERE . I'm looing for Altezza Tail Lights . Does anyone know if they make this for my car ?

The reason why you can't find anything is because aftermarket lighting companies only made them for the Eclipse. The Laser and Talon got no attention. You'd have to get some tails made for the Eclipse and convert to an Eclipse rear. It probably wouldn't be worth it at that point. They are not as available as they use to be but, they are still around on some online stores.

imho, if you think your being nice by telling him to do whatever he wants your really just hurting him in the long run when he ends up buying altezzas and A) they end up not working in a couple months, B) he grows out of liking the clear style in a couple months.

Just stick with stock, if you want custom, smoke 'em.

you might want to look into the blackout covers, they have them on ebay for your car. and i agree with mnr88talon , i have aftermarket head lights and tail lights on my eclipse, the look nice but moisture gets in them so easy and the wiring harness on the head lights are poorly made, not to mention the lights don't like to stay in them. i regret them.

If you want some clean bling, try upgrading to LEDs. I really like mine, but it's hit or miss for most people though. I for one like the updated look of LEDS.

Most people seem to like them when they see them in person...

I remember you mentioned that when they sold... possibly before I registered. Still can't get over that. ROFL

A one-piece look is really hard to pull off with a 1gb Talon or Laser. The Eclipse retained the same rear end from the previous years. I think. Pretty sure. The Eclipse is the one version I never bothered to keep up with. :p

If you're dead set on changing the look, I'd say retain the stock ones and smoke them. Or see if you can find some tail light covers. Those alternatives are nice and cheap too.

I wouldn't mind the ^^^ lights if the center piece was the car's color or a different solid color. I am sure ebay has some kind of Altezza tailights for the Talon/Laser. They had HID kits for my Triumph!

And about the guy in Japan, they made 50 1g's, so he was probably stoked that he found any kind of aftermarket lights for his car.

You can always try Nopi.com or BodyKits.com

Not saying they have them, but they usually have a bunch of stuff like that for almost everything. I wouldn't mind finding a nice set of clear/carbonfiber tails. I would smoke them with some nightshades, but still would like to start out clear.

Confirmed, Bodykits.com sells clear tails in chrome and carbonfiber for the eclipse, which should alo fit your Laser. But, I doubt they are worth the $450 that is asked for them.

Just post an add in the classifieds, someone on this site probably has a set in their garage that is taking up space. That's how I found mine. I have the clears, and I plan to Nightshade them as Never Satisfied suggested. I wouldn't use the center section, just plain ugly imo.

Everyone has opinions,it's what you like that matters OP. Not a bunch of people that fall in line because one person says it's 'ricer'.

Does anyone know if the eBay altezzas that say92-94 will fit on a 90. I am really looking for aftermarket tail lights and can't find ANY for a 90.

I would take a good look at the differences between the 1ga and 1gb rear bodies, they are completely different and require matching components from the respective years.

you need lights for a 89-91 T/E/L.

They will fit a 90 you will just have a gap in the corner of the tail light. where the tail light bumper and fender meet. Except for 1gb talons then you need to convert the rear bumper.

I had a set of new carbon fiber look altezzas I bought and sold a few years ago I bought them on ebay for $450. Then APC stoped making the carbon fiber ones. A few years after I bought them I sold them on ebay for $650, new still in the box and sulifane. Best investment I have ever made on any dsm related item. I sold two 1g DSMs for less proffit combinedROFL (yes they were solely flip cars).

Wish they made the all-clears like I have in my 2G GS for 1G's. That would be badass.....but they don't.

Those tails are pure sex...

But not made for 1g's...

Tint the tails..That's about all you can do to keep the clean look..

For a usdm 1ga..Euro's will fit..Not on 1gb's sadly..
