Im about to buy the 3 piece set of altezza lights for my car. I was wondering if the 2 piece or 3 piece set looked better. I was thinkin that the 3 piece would but then I saw a 2 piece set running around and it looked nice... Let me know what you think...

Just forewarning you, you're gonna get a slew of "Keep it stock" answers.

I say 2 piece. The centerpiece is fugly.

2 piece, with the black carbon fiber back, not the silver, then take off the eclipse lettering and paint the center to match your car. Then put the lettering back on..this is the only scenerio where I think Altezzas will look better than stock.

if this plays out true to form 1.3 will say nice, 1/3 will say keep it stock and the other 1/3 will say, it's your car if you like 'em go for it. I fall into the later 3rd

"keep it stock"

and if u do get the tezzas..

dont get the 3 piece.. and get em in black or cf..

cause the chrome crystal clears look totally rice. and the 3 piece makes ur car look like a spaceship from the rear.. its hideous to see the whole row like that ..

I kept mine stock, and then pulled the center reflector apart removed the paint on the inside of the lens and painted the oposite side of the box, then used lights and sockets from the local parts store and extended the tails into the center making a third (or rather 4th brake light), it took a little fabricating nothing too tough, and looks realy custom, you can go as far taking a dremil tool and engraving a logo on the inside like i did, http://www.dsmtuners.com/gallery/data/502/8840dsmpic1.jpg
this is a poor pic but you get the idea, i actually used two filliment bulbs so that the whole thing lights up w/ the parking lights, and the outer two are linked to brake lights, feel free to pm if you want any details

Get the 3-piece ones and then paint the center the color of your car (R87). That's what looks best IMO. :thumb:
