1g Alternator B wire help

Guys Im new to the 1g world and was wondering where does the B wire go 12v , on the stud sticking out near the bottom where the long bolt goes thru ?

or in front near the rad where I can screw a bolt in?

Does it need a plastic washer? if I dont put it what will happen ?

The B+ stud comes off the regulator and is insulated from the case. The wire from the fuse box fits over the stud and a nut holds it.

While this VFAQ is for the 120A alternator used of the 3000GT is give you an idea of what's inside a typical Mitsubishi alternator.
