1g aftermarket intake

What do I need to run one exactly?? Mine is stock but hoping to upgrade soon and couldn't find a thread saying exactly what is needed. Thanks

Are you talking about the intake manifold, or intake pipe?

If you are just getting an aftermarket intake pipe than there is nothing extra that you have to do, assuming that it has a recirc tube. Just remove the old one, disconnect the maf from it, install the maf on the new one and install it.

Most aftermarket intake pipes will have the spots to hook the valve cover vent tube, evap tube, and bsc return hose.

Yeah you can order one with all the hook ups for all your lines or you can just get the bov return line and order a oil catch can so you dont get that oil in your new air intake but its up to you both will work fine.

There are no senors on the intake tube/pipe.

2g maf, pipe, 550 injectors.Wait your an auto.Not sure what injectors you will need.

I would just stick with the stocker pipe with an after market filter. best thing you can do is wait till you get a evo maf or 2g maf or speed density, tune, and injectors.

I'm 5 speed. Right now I'm waiting on clutch money. Than my money is going to a hybrid motor build. So staying stock for now.

"hybrid engine" ? but your askin about a air filter pipe? if you intend on stayin stock untill you do the hybrid engine build/swap than why even mess with the air filter pipe at all? you'll see no gain unless you got a bunch of other crap to go along with it. i dont know? just thinkin out loud i guess

That's what I meant by staying stock. Not going to worry about it. Just kindof decided to do a build one morning. Hahaha. 6 bolt block 7 bolt head. 274s. Forged internals. All that good stuff.
