Bender just shut up and enjoy. This is a blog not a forum. Start a kelford vs bc forum if you want to debate cams. Sheesh

Yea you right, I didnt even bother wanting to reply to it because everyone can debate cams all day long.

With this being your first Talon, why not listen to someone who has much more experience with them? He is trying to help and it will save you work and keep you heading in the right direction for your goal. If money for me was tight, I would be doing it right the first time instead saying "I'll change it later on down the road".

Clean car btw, good luck with your goal...

Go read all the debates about cams, only thing ppl have to back up bc is junk is that other cams just out perform them :sosad:. Thats all, it aint nothing to swap out cams :aha:. When I say change things later on means when I want different I will change things. I don't mind people opinions but I think its sad when most ppl that make opinions dnt have first hand with anything and making statements off of other ppl statements, I can tell by all the research on the forums :nono:.

Then it is kind of a bold statement to say "1g 900hp street car" If your 300hp short because of your cams ect.. Im not picking sides but that is quite a bold and loose statement...

very nice car man. i really do like what youre doing, and i really hope you reach your goal. dont listen to these guys. they are just putting in their .02 cents becuase they have either seen everyone else do it, or becuase they dont build their's right and max out there shit at stupid ridiculous low amounts of hp due to not doing research, or just jealous because they cant afford it. just keep going along with the build the way you're doing it, and dont turn back. do it the way YOU want since its YOUR car!

Dyno Time is Around the corner and it will show everything, so enough with the cams debating. My bank account aint shy for bigger and better cams. So im guessing if I fail it wouldnt be a hard fix. Better yet anyone wanna give me more aggessive cams since nobody likes my cams ROFL.....

Jeez.. some people. I can appreciate your build, and you have done very nice work.

I would just hate to see those ever so common partouts labeld "9 second capable car" because you got frustrated because for some reason, you didn't get out what you were aiming for. I guess this is the thanks I get for trying to save heart ache down the road. You should reach 600-700 hp no problem on your setup, if you fuel pump will allow it. The A1000's are decent pumps, just not for a big setup. I didn't want get discussing this when I mentioned the cams.. but since everyone hates me anyways, might as well lay it all on the table.

The pump will be good for the cams you have now. So you can be thankful for that.

However, when you get a high flowing cam grind, your cheapest route will be adding an inline Bosch 044. Or selling the A1000, and getting a massive single pump.

Again, don't get me wrong, the A1000 should be enough for your 600hp setup, but will stop flowing when you try to squeeze out that extra 300 hp.

AGAIN, I am not trying to discourage you, or say your build sucks (which it doesn't.. I personally think it is an awesome build, especially since it is very similar to the one I am doing). I am just trying to keep you from getting discouraged if it does less than expected the first time at the dyno. And I am giving you pointers what would need to be changed to make it a cheap and painless process to get it up to your ultimate goal.

Also, I started modding my first DSM in 2003, and I have plenty experience with the parts I listed. I am not one of those "well, my neighbor's ex boyfriend's brother said that..." I have PERSONAL experience with these parts, and I am trying to keep you from going through the same thing I have.

Sick! Bring the video camera to the dyno!!

I am excited to see progress on your build. I am in the midst of my build as well. I hope you have great luck with all the components you used. I know that you were catching a lot of flak about your choice in cams. I used them in my build so i hope that you are able to do well with them in yours. I hope to do the same in mine. Looking forward to the updates to come.

Should be a beast! Everything looks nice
Is the s372 capable of 900whp?, Is it a 72lb/min turbo or 72mm inducer?

Unless Borg Warner gave me the wrong info on my Turbo choice. My plan is to see how high I could go and bring it down in power.
