I have a 1g 7 bolt engine, I plan on retaining the stock crank with my build. Is it forged? Also, does anyone know how much power I can put down safely on this crank? If anyone has something else to add in about the 1g 7 bolt feel free, I don't hear much about it on here. thanks guys.

Im not exactly sure. I searched everywhere and can't find an answer. I have heard the stock crank for the 6 bolt can handle upwards of 700hp so my guess would be the 7 bolt can hold a little less than that.

But the connecting rod definitely would go before before the crank. I would leave the crank as the last thing to do.

Stock cranks have been taken to 1000whp+ and held up fine.

1g 7 bolt and 2g 7 bolt cranks are the same.
