I have a 1994 talon, looked at all threads, this needs to be posted. So swapped an engine from one car that the timing belt snapped, with an engine from a car that i drove b4 swapping. Car ran for 45 minutes, guy backed it out, stalled it and it wouldnt start by itself.
Car starts when u vice grib the fuel line crank it it will start and run great, wont start unless u do that, flooding bad. What we tried so far.
Swapped ECU's both from running cars
Swapped ISC, TPS, coolent sensor
Swapped FPR, and tried after market turned all the way down still didnt work
Swapped Plugs, wires coil packs
Swapped entire fuel tanks with pump no difference
swapped throttle body with the goodies(isc, tps) * fired up great, first crank then took it for a spin, turned it off same problem again
Checked timing, Number 1 cyclender at top , marks line up perfect with eachother
swapped CAS
Both cars ran great, the car timing broke because had an evil dealership do the timing and they reused my old belt duh
So again, car doesnt flood while driving, but only during start up, any idea's
