ok,so im doing a head gasket on 94 1.8 sohc and we are kinda stuck, it seems to be that the driver side motor mount just keeps getting in our way and i was wondering if i would have to jack up the motor to take that one out or am i fine taking it out cause of the other 3 motor mounts holding it in?

You will need to support the engine when you remove the driver side mount. A block of wood on a floor jack under the oil pan works pretty good. Just removing the mount will put to much stress on the other three mounts.
