1g-2g Swap questions? Please help?

Ok so i have two cars, a 95 talon n/a and a totaled 98 GSX. I was going to transfer the AWD parts into the 95 but most of them are no good. ok so here is my question. What 1st gen parts other than my tranny will fit into my 2nd gen? WILL the rear sub frame match up? How about the gas tank? Also i`m sure plenty of people have asked this but where can i get a complete list of the AWD parts i will need? Oh and one last thing...what year and make car do i have to take the crank out of for a 2.4 strokerr, and a 2.3 stroker?

Im confused. You said what 1st gen parts will go into your 2g. But the two cars you listed are both 2g.
If your talking about puting all your 98 turbo parts in your 95 n/t then that wont work. Two different motors. But im sure you already knew that. Unless your good at fab work and you have ALOT of money then this isnt a logical idea. Buy a shell then swap the parts.

ya i know the motors are different, i have a 4g63 6bolt for it, i found a cheep 92 tsi i wanted to use for the swap. sorry it was confusing.

You have a 6 bolt 4g63 for the 92 tsi that you got cheap? What exactly are you trying to do?

I have a 95 N/A, I also have a 98 GSX but it was rolled. i was going to use it for parts but i cant. A friend of mine has a 92 tsi AWD with no motor. i want to use the AWD parts from the 92 in my 95, will the rear sub frame, axles, gas tank and whatever else i need fit into my 95 or are the parts not interchangeable.

not interchangeable. wheelbase is not the same as well. the rear diff is different as well. try to find someone who selling an awd roller. sell your spare parts or just scrap both cars if you need $$$ to buy the awd roller. drop the 95 or go t3 t4 on the log and turbo the 420a. over 2k in work just to get the n/a to a turbo is not worth it. for that price you can buy an awd that is running and drivable.

ok so i have a t3 t4 turbo i picked up awhile ago, what would i need to turbo the 420? will the 4g63 head fit on the 420? and i read that the garrett t3 t4 wouldn't work on the eclipse or talon due to down-pipe problems?

I don't know about the other stuff but the 4g63 head will not fit on a 420a. Two completely different motors from two different companies. (The 420a comes from chrysler)

check out 2GNT.com - home all of the stuff you need to know and do to make a 420a a turbo is there. nothing off of the 4g63 will fit on the 420a. i hope this helps. call dsmgarveyard at 269-226-4463 they will guide you in the right path on exactally what to get. andy had a 2g with the 420a in it and he was running a t3 or t4 on the log style header. i know they know what they are doing and that they can get what you need.
