So it appears I bought the last remaining Borla header from Archer Racing.
Now I'm looking for a cat & catback that's of the same high caliber to go with it.
I can't find any N/T specific catbacks (big shocker, I know), but I did find this.

I've heard Flowmaster isn't the greatest for turbos, but it might be just the ticket on a 1991 2.0L N/T.

What does the rest of the world think?:sneaky:

i say muffler shop i live in lewisburg TN and i know the local performance guys ( drag racers and stuff like that ) but they all said go the !@#$%'s muffler shop i went told him i want 2.5 inches and a 45 degree exit andhe says 150 dollars LOL good deal right thats stainless steel mandrell bend mani back with new muffler tanabe somthin another i think so ye +2 for muffler shop

OK, custom it is then.
I should've mentioned this is for my girlfriends '91 Eclipse, so this thing can't make too much racket.

My initial parts list:
muffler

resonator

I'm hoping this is gonna be a livable compromise when it comes to noise VS flow.

That exhaust is just a stock turbo replacement. Same size as a 1g turbo and probably the same routing just a different muffler. Your best bet is to go with either a customer 2.5" exhaust depending on the mods to your motor or go with a 2.25".

I gather by what you say that there might be some other way route the pipes, is that so?
I'd love to hear about that!:)

Any fwd turbo exhaust will fit your nt dsm just fine. I used to run the Pacesetter catback, wasn't a huge fan of it. Stick with 2.5" fwd 1g exhaust from any dsm shop and you'll be good to go.

I put a flowmaster 40 series on my old 90 gs 2.0 and loved the sound and feel at higher speeds. No one believed that was what I had because they are usually used on older american mussle cars, specifically older or newer mustags.
