2G 1999 front and rear bumper on a 1997?

I just bought a 1997 eclipse in much better condition than my 1999.
Only problem is that it got this unpainted big front bumper and a really ugly rear one which is damaged on the side

My 1999 Eclipse has rod knock and is going to be scrapped but I want to save as many parts of it that I can. The question is will the front and rear bumper from my 1999 eclipse fit my 1997 eclipse? I know that my 1999 is the facelift version and I think that my 1997 is the pre-facelift.

Rear bumper is not a problem

Front will also fit but it must have matching 97-99 eclipse headlights

Sure they will, those are 2GB
95-96 are the pre-facelift design

Your 97 looks more like a 96 because of the lights! Europe had weird waya of registering cars later then they really are! Some euro places had a 95 down as a 2002?? So yeah, weird stuff.

Your one with the 2 slow to furious bumper has 95-96 headlights, so my best guess its a 2GA, if you swapped over everything from a 2gb to the GA it would fit up nicely because its made for the bumper shape and gaps, its when you try start mix matching it becomes horrible with gaps and such

They are most certainly pre facelift lights which makes me think its a 96 and just registered wrongly in your country. I could be wrong but i doubt it. Most dont do the 2GA swap, they always do the 2GB swap

But the lights from my 1999 and front bumper should fit right? without to much of a gap

Swapping to the 99 yes it will work because the bumper is designed with the facelift headlights,
