2G 1999 Eclipse RS engine swap?

I seen a 1999 Eclipse RS for like 1,000 and I was thinking would it be worth it to engine swap it and which one would be worth it?

There is no direct swap and none are particularly worth it when there are better options. Even those who have done it and not needed to ask this question came out the other side with "it's not worth it." They just did it because they wanted to. The general answer to this question is "if you have to ask.."
