1996 GST readiness monitors problem.

ok i got a 1996 gst that passed inspection fine last year.The car was bone stock last year.than this year i put in some mods and replaced the battery(which resets the ecu) than connected everything back and cars fine.than i figured now i have to drive around and set the monitors so i can go get my inspection.Heres my mods maybe some is interfering with the monitors.

Injen intake pipe and filter
walbro 255 WITHOUT A AFPR could that be y?
new plugs and wires ngk
muffler NOT CATBACK
t25 turbo set at 15 psi NOT WITH BOOST CONTROLLER
Forced performance wastegate 17psi set to 15 thats y i don't run boost controller its straight up from nipple to wastegate since the wastegate is ajustable.


I have the folowing showing on my laptop.

CONTINUOUS MONITORS

Misfire:Complete
Fuel system:Complete
Comprehensive component:Complete

NON-CONTINUOUS MONITORS


Catalyst: Incomplete
Heated catalyst: Incomplete
Evaporative system: Incomplete
secondary air system: N/A
A/C system: N/A
oxygen sensor: Incomplete
oxygen sensor heater: Incomplete
EGR system: Incomplete

Any ideas why i drove 580 Miles IN 2 weeks none came complete any help would be appreciated.

Most obd2 cars have a "drive cycle" which is a list of parameters that a car must be driven in order to be ready.
For example , this is a generic ready check:
1. As soon as the engine starts, idle the engine in drive for two and a half minutes with the A/C and rear defrost on. OBDII checks oxygen sensor heater circuits, air pump and EVAP purge.

2. Turn the A/C and rear defrost off, and accelerate to 55 mph at half throttle. OBDII checks for ignition misfire, fuel trim and canister purge.

3. Hold at a steady state speed of 55 mph for three minutes.

OBDII monitors EGR, air pump, O2 sensors and canister purge.

4. Decelerate (coast down) to 20 mph without braking or depressing the clutch. OBDII checks EGR and purge functions.

5. Accelerate back to 55 to 60 mph at half throttle. OBDII checks misfire, fuel trim and purge again.

6. Hold at a steady speed of 55 to 60 mph for five minutes.

OBDII monitors catalytic converter efficiency, misfire, EGR, fuel trim, oxygen sensors and purge functions.

7. Decelerate (coast down) to a stop without braking. OBDII makes a final check of EGR and canister purge

yea i tried the drive cycle nothing really works i drove at 55-60 for like 6 mins straight drove in city for 40mph for 3 mins i heard that it could be a problem with 1996 eclipses ECU but idk any other help?

Did you do EVERYTHING on the drive cycle list I posted exactly as stated or just these 2 things? I also didn't see drive at 40mph for 3mins listed

well i bought a tech bulletin for 1996 eclipe ad its 5 pages long teaching how to drive it but its so comfusing im a try and do your way.
