Just wanna say hello everyone!I just signed on today and I'm happy on searching learning and viewing all the things onto this forum!Heres some vehicle background.I have a 1995 eagle talon esi built in march of 95 with the dsm tag.With the so called 420a motor nonturbo fwd automatic yes my DD for work.I have replaced the transmission to a 97 talon fwd automatic rebuilt and drove to Michagan to get it and rewired the tranny to fit the 95 as for the backup neautral start wires.Was driving perfect from there Just No backup light.Well I have experianced an accident in Dec 1st of '09 in which I T-boned a '09 Kia sephia in the rear from her taking a left when I had the right away going straight with right front damage at 35mph.So the car stalled and shutoff and I took it home for my own repairs.Which it stalled from the neg battery cable ripping out.Then went so on driving for 2 more months and so I woke up one morning to go to work at 4a.m. and the battery is dead so I jump started it to go on to work and let the battery charge on the way on a rainyday.10min later at 50mph it stalled out and the whole dash flickered out to a rolling stop.It would never start again crank and crank so It set for a few months and Now I am trying to get this started.I checked......
all fuses and fusible links
swapped ecu from pull apart junkyard
check some grounds not all
yes the cps has a very oily connector need to clean and rewire this one
all righthand relays uptop the fire wall(fuel pump/asd)changed fuel pump relay already and switched around
used ether starting fliud very small sputter once!
oh yeah same gas from 6-7 months ago
crank sensor replacement from autozone from a 97 avenger the others dont match mine in 95 part#su3025 right now with new 445 pigtail autozone harness with new connector with locking red tab.
How do you rewire this to the factory wires??The new connector has orange/black/light-bwn-blue stripe to my factory yellow/bk-gn/bl-wt also same for my cam sensor to rewire same colors.Checked at the library from the all-data website and I know what the clors mean on the factory harness.I plan on rewiring and trying to to start the car it has no spark or fuel pump when turning the key and cranking.Or if any one has other suggestions and I did the search for my rewire and nothing>
I'm stuck with no car and I need a ride to work and back everyday it sucks!My other car is torn apart for a power built 04sti and my supra spun a rod bearing so Im looking for anything to get this running.Let me know thanks in advance for all replies from the dsm tuners members or mods.I heard of the vss and rewire harness from it.Thanks again hope this does not confuse you guys sorry I'm a newb to these cars.
