Hi there guys , I am new to this forum, this is my really first post. I have some questions but they are not for the swap, but for my HP goals.
I have a 6bolt N/T block with a turbo 1G head and intake manifold. I am gonna swap this engine to the 1995 mirage FWD but before that I will do a rebuild. Since it is a N/t block and I am going turbo I wont be using the pistons. My highest WHP goal will be 400hp, but for starters I will try to rebuild the engine and run it at 8psi of boost to break in. I am leaning forward to buy 2G OEM pistons and since I have like 9 1G BIG rods I will try to take em to the machine shop to fit them (with the proper modifications of course to the pin area). Will this combination work for my goals WITHOUT the oil squirters? or should I go direct with wiseco/eagle combo. The mirage is very light and with that amount of HP I will just spin the wheels, I will try to defeat that by using a boost by gear setting of some sort. Ohh and BW I will be using a Programable computer such as DSM link with a 1991 ecu or a haltech perhaps.
What are your thoughts about this... I need some feedback.
