I own a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi FWD. I'm having an issue with the throttle I believe when I shift and press on the gas it does nothing for like 2-3 seconds than all of a sudden I feel the boost kick in, The car feels like its putting gas but the gas tank is full. I've had to tighten the clamps for that cheap stock hose that connects to the stock blow off valve several times. That only fixed the problem of my car starting...but I'm having issues with my throttle, I took a look at the stock BOV(blow off valve) and the small tube from the blow off valve looks like it was ripped apart and hot glued back together. I ordered a new Megan Racing blow off valve for my car, but at this point I'm unsure if this will resolve the throttle issue even though I was told it should because the turbo spools and has problems doing that with the small tube disconnected and barely connected by hot glue....Does anyone have any pointers?

Replace that small tube from the bov with a new vacuum line to the intake manifold. That's your biggest issue. The top of the bov needs to be the same pressure as the intake manifold or else the bov will vent into the intake and cause the car to run like crap.

Do a complete boost leak test too.

Thats what I figured, Thanks spooling, if I get this issue resolved, I should be able to hear that good ole whistle again. do you know any auto part shops that have a small tube for this for a temporary fix?

Are you saying the vacume line is off/ripped if so any parts store will have replacment line. And with that vac line open you have a vacuum leak! And having a big leak like that will definitely cause drivability issues! Also do a boost leak test before anything else! Sounds like you have a few major ones bro!

Not a problem. I do have another question, I took my car into the repair shop because my speedometer quit working. I come to find out my speed sensor is shot. I looked at parts online and all of them are for automatic transmissions. I have a manual. Does it matter if I get an automatic speed sensor for my car or should I get a manual?
