1995 and 1997 talon compatability

Hi I am new here and have a few questions I have the oppertunity to buy two eagle talons one is a 1995 ESI and the other a 1997 ESI I am just wondering how compatable the drivetrain systems are if it would be worth it to have both cars and use one as a parts car

Just the exterior parts are nicer looking on the 97 but everything else is the same and swappable.
