1992 laser spoiler

Did all turbo lasers come with a spoiler in 92? If so I could use a few good pics, mine is missing. I do not see holes for one.

Not sure about the '92 But I have a '93 Non-Turbo with a factory rear spoiler that is different than any other DSM I've ever seen..

Thanks, I think it'd look better with a spoiler. Guess I need to keep my eyes open for one.

There was a '93 in the yard where I live that had this spoiler on the rear end and I tried to take it off, but the mounting hardware in the plastic spoiler all shattered out, then saw a big crack in that spoiler itself. Thus, walked away from it.

..if you head to the Chrysler dealership, I wonder if it's still listed in their parts department as a new part to order.


..and that was that "Gold Editon" Laser which is a highly collectable car - very few were released in the 1Gb form.

I have a '92 laser. It looks almost identical to that white gold edition. Other than it is missing the script laser on the bottom. But mine is black though. It is awd and does not have the spoiler or even holes for it. What all classifies it for the Gold Edition? Is there a certain vin code? I would be interested to see if mine is. If so I need to find those stock gold rims and get the nasty aftermarket ones off. But no not all turbo lasers have spoilers.

What all classifies it for the Gold Edition? Is there a certain vin code?

I do believe that it is what the Laser in that pict has - gold pinstripe and the wheels, plus I also think it had leather interior along with loaded to the guts with all the fancy stuff to drive itself.

But, if the VIN had a code, it would be the "64" in the front part of the VIN, like "4P3CT64" meaning a high end class AWD DSM Laser.

I didn't really think that the "gold" edition laser's where all that rare I have one that served winter duty last year, and I've seen a bunch in passing over the years( like 20% of lasers I have seen).
The stock laser spoiler is my favorite 1g spoiler(just my opinion).

Also I'm pretty sure leather seating was never an available option on the laser.

I looked at a Laser RS N/T once that I found on CL. It had the gold edition package. From what I could tell, it was just an appearance package.

The only difference from a standard Laser was the gold alloy wheels and 'Laser' written in script along with a pinstripe. The guy claimed that any Laser could be ordered with it so it didn't change the VIN number.

Hmm interesting. Mine doesn't have the script or spoiler. But I may look for a set of those "gold" rims to put on it, I like the way it looks!!

i have two lasers one has a wing and the other one don't. the one that was built in January has no wing but the one built in May has one.

Im pretty sure the spoiler was and add on option I've had a few lasers with out one and a few with. The spoiler is definatly the hotest of the 1g spoilers.
