I have a question - what is the cut off between the '1990' and '1991-1993' engine harnesses that go into the ECU? There are 2 pins switched - do the earlier pop-up headlight cars have the '1990' and the 1GB style have the '91-93'? Thanks in advance I really appreciate it - I've got 2 ECU's one as a 1990 and one a 91-93 and am going to cut one up to make an EVO8 ecu patch harness - need to pick the right one to cut up. Thanks.

The "cut-off" is the model year transition. As soon as 1991 models began production in June of 1990, the 1990 engine wiring harness disappeared.
