i'm juss wondering is your dipstick shooting out spraying oil everywhere?? cuz if it is it's pretty common.. i had the same problem on my 90 laser all i did was take some vice grips and pinched the hose tighter onto the dipstick... if not you can always try pick n pull... probably only $5 + $2 to get in.

yeah...i went to race a caviquer the other day, and noticed my oil presure took a dive, so i bailed out to save my car. Now the guy is talking shit, so when i fix the oil all over the underside of my hood problem, i'll go kick his ass!

If you dipstick is pushing up and leaking oil out try installing a new pcv valve... LOL bout 5 bucks and away with lots of headaches. But when the egr becomes blocked it pressures up the crankcase and takes the easiest way out... the dipstick hole. located on back of valve cover just unscrew it and put the new one in. not sure if this is the problem but just a suggestion.

24 psi on a 14b and still going

The pcv valve should not be flowing when under boost. If this happened it would ensure the crank case pressurized over your boost pressure. You should have another air passage off the left of the valve cover that attaches to the intake just before the turbo.

Also to everybody with dipsticks blowing out. This is a sign of blowby.

well, i'm shooting my oil/dipstick out near redline in first and sometimes second, and i'm just going to believe that it's crappy rubber on the dipstick. for pete's sake man, it's 14-15 years old, the rubber is probably as worthless as my tires are...

chances are its just the rubber. My '90 started shooting the dipstick out, so I bought a new one from Conicelli. I couldn't believe the difference in fit between the old and new. No more problems :)
