Well guys ive had the car for about a year now and have done nothing to it. weather is getting nice again and i just ordered some things i needed to get the project kickstarted. I would like to get her into the 450hp range by the time im done, but that is long far away.

so i picked the car up not running, no possible ideas to problem.. towed to my house and attempt start. battery dead. charged battery to get this

a few people here at the time said to check the ecu that the injectors might be randomly firing, my and a buddy took fuel rail and injectors off and doing that broke fuel rail, but a few days after that lost my job so had no money or desire to work on her.

now im tired of seeing a beautiful white gst sitting there not being used. so since i am working again i am getting my enthusiasm back for it and just ordered valve cover bolts and spark plug bolts as well as picking up a stock fuel rail this week.. after i get those its back to diagnosing the no start and random ticking issues

if anyone has any info to help me out i am ALWAYS all ears

thats what i figured at the time.. when i took fuel line off of the fuel filter that runs to the fuel rail it had very little pressure. then fuel rail snapped in half later in the day and havent worked on it since. i was thinking fuel pump. but now i have the task of getting a new fuel rail before i go ahead and try to start it to see if pump is bad. i also ordered new valve cover and spark plug cover bolts because the current ones were old and rusty

well guys after finally getting a day off work and it being a nice day i went to work on the gst.. thanks to eagletalonjohn for the fuel rail, i got that put back on has well as the valve cover( which is going to have to come back off anyway) when dsm graveyard decide to ship my order for new valve cover bolts. then i can put the maf back get new battery and stat diagnosing the problem, which i believe was the fuel pump to start with. Also finally some pictures for you guys to. should have given her a bath but shes pretty clean as is

still waiting on dsm graveyard to send my valve cover bolts.. getting VERY annoyed now. calling them in the morning and probably cancelling my order and getting from extreme psi.. i will NEVER use dsm graveyard again

idk if STM has them, but id totally get them from them extreme psi or them. ive heard nothing but bad things bout them, but cant vouch personally.

jnz if they have them would be a good choice also.

graveyard surprises me with how much business the DO get. with all the bad PR, id expect a closed down company as of now.

Dsm Graveyard is by far the worst as far as service and parts. As stated check out extremepsi or even MAP for those parts but looking good cant wait to see this thing running. What mods are you planning on doing?

called dsm graveyard yesterday, forgot who i spoke to he is new, tyler no long works for the company. this guy was very nice and understanding and said he will look at why they are not sent yet and get them out BY friday.

but yes i will be using extreme psi for most of my parts from now on.

as far as mods i was thinking around 400-500HP, off the top of my head these are the parts i was thinking

wiseco 9.0:1
acl bearings
kelford 276/272 cams
megan 3" downpipe to a thermal research exhaust
vrsf front mount
dejon powerhouse intake
injector dynamics 1000cc injectors
walbo 255lph fuel pump
as far as a turbo i was thinking a 20g

thats all i remember off my head any thoughts ( positive and negative are welcome)

@ Whooooop

Looks like a good list of mods but what rods are you planning on going with? Also extreme psi has a great bundle deal right now on piston/rod sets so id check them out.

was going to go with manley turbo tuff " i beams"

bolts are in the mail as of wednesday, sent priority mail, should be hear on friday, going to get a battery and valve cover gasket tomorrow from work. i will put the maf and intake back on as well. then time for diagnosing. will get a compression tester from work, compression and spark test it. check fuel pump for engagement ( what i think was originally the problem).

any other things you guys can think of that i should do?

well when the time comes ive decided to go with a FP "green" turbo
wiseco pistons
Manley Turbo Tuff Rods
eagle forged 4340 94mm crankshaft
ACL Race Bearings
Arp head studs
Hot tank
Disassembly and machining to rebuild heads
Cam gears taken apart and cleaned
Spark plugs
Fluids
Killer B Ultimate Oil Pickup
Gates Racing Timing Belt Kit w/ Water Pump
kelford 276/272 cams
megan 3" downpipe to a thermal research exhaust
vrsf front mount
dejon powerhouse intake
injector dynamics 1000cc injectors
walbo 255lph fuel pump

that is pretty much the whole list of parts and service i am hoping to have done by the end of august
