Alright guys, We just purchased a 1989 Eagle Talon Tsi that has a few slight problems...

The guy who owned it before me said it had a miss and he could never figure out the problem, he replaced the ecu 3 times and had the same results. I was checking through the Ecu's he had purchased and I came across an E-prom... Will this Ecu work with my 1989 Eagle talon? I am not sure which of the 3 is the original.

Here is a pic of what the ecu looks like ;)

I am pretty sure the car has a burnt valve so im going to replace the head with another one we have laying around. Would there be any benefit to me to run a cyclone intake?

Thanks guys... And 1g Carbon parts are on the way :hellyeah:

Hard to tell by the pics but the car is dark green and silver, It needs a scrub and a slight face lift but for $500 I couldnt pass her up. Probably going to do a 20g or hx35 build with this baby after we max out the little 14b it has on it (shouldnt take long)

Which?

The first one would need serious work to convert and you still would have to deal with the 90/91+ issues or do additional conversion to the ECU.
The second needs work but I can't tell without holding it in my hands how much it needs.

I would use the second ecu, when i get the car running ill send it out to you. Thanks for taking the time today and talking with me.
