Hey guys, I am in the midst of purchasing 18" ADR Sterling Chrome rims. They are 18x8.5. Right now I have a factory suspension. I do not plan on slamming the car, so when I lower it I just want to keep it clean. What tires should I go with? tirerack.com says to go with 225/40 series, thanks

I have 225/40-18s on 18x8.5" rims, and I'm not slamming it either. I tried 215/35-18s first, and they were horrible. Way too low profile, it looked funny, and rode rough. I'm really happy with the 225/40s. Check out my gallery to see how they look.

Anything from 225 to 245 will work on an 8.5 inch wheel.
