Just ordered some 18x8 35mm offset . wanted to know if i could run 235/40/18 without any issues or fender rolling.. . or would it be better to run 225/40/18. i had 225/40/18 an a 18x7.5 with 45 offset.. so if anyone has these rims one with similiar tires let me know.. i dont really want to fender roll

yeah thats what i was thinking.. i wanted to just use a rubber hammer. . dont really want to use a pole .. going to see if any one down here does fender rolling

I had 245/40R18 +35 offset and my car was lowered 2" and I rubbed from the moment I set the car down. I even rolled the fenders and it still rubbed on uneven pavement. In order to have an offset like that, you need to have a higher ride height or stiffer suspension / little to no suspension travel.

With 235's u might still have a problem, but 225's you should be in the clear depending upon the conditions above.

yeah but would 225 fit the tire or stretch? i really dont want a stretched look just want to have somethin that fits it good

if you have them rolled by a shop or someone whos know what they are doing they wont rub after i had an 18x7.5 +40 with a 225/40 and the rears rubed just a little till i had them rolled but you can fit your wheels as long as you get the fenders rolled

yeah i had 18x7 with a 225 on it and i didnt really have any issues. my car is dropped with eibach pros so. i just want to make sure..

so i still dont know what to get either 225 or 235 tires. i dont want a stretched look but i just want to make sure the tire fits fine

?? want to know so i can order them.. i hope these rims dont stick out.. i would hate that look so much

Or you can "pull the fenders out" mini wide body. You hear up the paint and use a fender puller that also rolls the fender. 240 and rx7 guys use this method and I'm shocked that there is still no wide body fenders for dsms yet. I really don't get why so many people are focused on drag racing still.
