Thanks man, no need to be rude. My 16g is cracked, i have a good 14b.

What part is cracked, the center housing or the turbine housing?

All TD05H parts are interchangeable with other TD05H turbos except for the center housing; the part which is fed oil and contains the bearings and rotating assembly. The center housing is cut with backplate diameters that are specific to the compressor wheel they're designed to be used with.

i have a turbo for my talon and it says 49178-01(41)0.. looked it up and it should be a real big 16g... BUT the fins are from a 14b i think... im lost and need help asap..

post some pictures up of the turbine clearly... the crack and make sure in the pic of the turbine that we can see all fins and i could tell you if its a 14b turbine or 16g

How are you going to tell from the turbine when they both use tdo5h turbines?
Part# matches a 14b, but its pretty simple, if it has single vaned compressor blades, its a 14b, if there's dual vaned compressor blades, then its been modified with most likely one the 16g,18g, or 20g compressor wheels

Its cracked and leaking from the waist gate port.

Please when you have a ? about something make a new thread.:ohdamn:
Don't jack mine:notgood:

Ok you say its cracked and leaky from the wastegate port but you don't mention what is leaking exhaust or oil, plus 41 is not a 16g its either 42 or 47 and small should be 0200. Tell me the issue and I will fix it.

Plus to get your 14b to be a 16 you need to take your 14b to a turbo shop to machine the CHRA and your Compressor cover to fit your new wheel. Then by a 16g rebuild kit because the backing plate is tapered instead of the 14b's flatback.

o ok good to know ### i saw on this one site it said this....

49178-01(40)0: 14B
49178-01(41)0: Big 16G
49178-01(42)0: Big 16G
49178-01(45)0: Evo I Big 16G
49178-01(46)0: Evo II Big 16G
49178-01(47)0: EVO III 16G

49178-01(52)0: Small 16G

so thats what i was going by and how i was lost i guess

only you can tell us bud... i cant see the crack from the pictures at all and to be honest unless you can see that crack there is no way for me or any one to tell you what is leaking
