On a stock 6bolt motor with stock inj and all at 10psi, how much more hp should a super/evo3 turbo make over a 14b. My 14b has been ported but disregard that unless you havr info on it.

At 10psi the evo3 won't really make more HP. Infact with stock injectors you won't be able to hit high HP numbers with either turbo. You're going to run out of fuel before you out-flow either turbo.

The big advantage of an evo3 on stock injectors would be quicker spool, and thus a wider power band. You will see more power in your lower RPMS.

Really? I would have thought the smaller turbo would have spooled faster. Reason I ask is that my 14b is starting to blow-by oil. Trying to decide to rebuild it or to get this 16g from a friend of mine.

We can't guess on horsepower, sorry. That's not what the tech forums are here for.

Even though the Evo III will likely move more air at the same (low) boost level, it's going to spool a good 800-1000rpms later....so the car will probably feel slower during street driving as a result.
