2G 16g turbo wastegate connection

Hello I recently replaced my stock turbo with a 16g turbo. I am having a hard time finding where does the wastegate line connect to? I have tried different places but the turbo seems like it doesn’t build up boost. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

It connects to your boost control solenoid or manual boost controller.

I use one of these on the silicone coupler at the bottom of j pipe. It does not leak. Keep the hole small.

It connects to your boost control solenoid or manual boost controller.

I currently have it at connected to the bottom nipple of the solenoid it’s also “t” to the intercooler pipe. Should I just do a direct connection to the the solenoid from the wastegate actuator?I just ordered a manual boost control but won’t be getting delivered until next week.
