16g small replacement question

i have a 16g small in my car atm that is blown and would a 16g big be a direct replacement or would i have to get a new down pipe and stuff?

IMO that would be kind of silly. The only reason to put 20g internals in a 16g is for racing in a class that requires a stock appearing turbo. Otherwise you are just building yourself a lazy turbo, you get the spool of a 20g with the flow of a 16g.


Any 16g variant or a 14b would be a direct replacement with no modification.
